Beauty Favourites | June 2017

Hiya everyone!

I hope you’re doing well.

It’s the end of the month, which means it’s time for a monthly beauty favourites of course – all the beauty shit I’ve been loving the past 4 or so weeks.

As always if you like the sound of any of these bits, if you click the name of the product it’ll take you to the website to grab it yourself.

Too Faced Sweet Peach Creamy Peach Oil Lip Gloss In ‘Papa Don’t Peach’ –  I’m not usually a lip gloss fan to be honest; I find it sticky, I prefer a matte look, and my hair gets stuck to my mouth when the wind blows. That being said, this little Too Faced beauty has totally changed my mind when it comes to that. To start with it smells like a dream, peachy of course but almost a bit bubblegum-ish too, with some coconut undertones.

It’s not got too much of a sheer sheen look, it’s a gorgeous nude/mauve pink shade, it feels really moisturising on the lips, and it doesn’t give a horrible sticky feel either.Barry M Sunset Daylight Curing Nail Paint In ‘All The Things She Red’  I’d been looking for a more deep orange coral/red shade for a  while and this is literally perfect. Cheap, glossy and a gorgeous colour. Of course it doesn’t have the most amazing staying power I’ve ever come across but it does the job and it’s the perfect Summer shade that I think I’ll be wearing non stop for the next few months! He-Shi One Day Tan – This has 30% off at the mo too which is a result. You know, I’m not a big fan of ‘one day’ instant wash off tans as I feel like most of them over compensate for the fact they last one day and make you so orange, to the point you’re a colour no human has ever been before. Honestly though, I loved this one. A really gorgeous, natural brown colour, it made my skin feel so soft and look pretty damn flawless, and it sunk in quickly and didn’t make me feel sticky at all either. This is a fab tan for someone who fake tans regularly and wants something for an added bit of OOMPH on a night out, or someone who rarely tans and just wants something for one night that they can wash off the next day.Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in ‘Sun Dipped’ –  I’ve had this for quite a while and only dipped in and out of it and I’m not sure why because it’s bloody unreal. It’s so pigmented, the shades are gorgeous, they’re huge and last ages. It’s the ideal product if you love all different kinds of highlight looks, as this offers so many different possibilities. A must have for everyone who loves makeup.Paco Rabanne Olympea Intense Eau De Parfum –  I love this perfume. Lady Million has always been my fave, but this has overtaken it. Mandarin, ginger lily and salty vanilla, I’m not some kind of perfume expert so I can’t really describe it apart from it’s a bloody beautiful, universally female scent and it would make a lovely fragrance or gift for any lady in your life.Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel Bronze Universel – A solid mousse like consistency, this is literally a universal bronzer for anyone with fair to very tanned skin. It’s perfect to apply with a buffing brush, it blends in amazingly to your skin and just gives you the most stunning, natural bronzed glow. I think it’s the consistency that makes it look so natural and not a fake, cakey orange glow. I’ve been using this everyday this month (well every makeup month anyway), and I’ve been loving it.

Anyway, this is all my new beauty favourites this month – I hope you’ve enjoyed it and got some inspiration for updating your makeup bag! Speak soon.

All my love BGP xx
