We all know what it’s like ordering off certain delivery companies. We’re hungry, we’re lazy and we want something nice to eat. We end up scrolling through endless lists of ‘Kebab King’ and ‘Pizza Palace’ and after a quick google search of said places we decide we would rather have a homemade sandwich.
Which is why I was pleasantly surprised to discover Deliveroo – a delivery company who cut out the bad, unnecessary food joints which none of us WANT to order from. Instead of the food we would only find appealing at 5am, we are presented with actual dinner choices – Meat Liquor, GBK, Prezzo, ASK Italian, Carluccio’s, Gars, Moshimo – and so many more. It’s the perfect option for when you want restaurant quality in bed with your Netflix series and IKEA pillows.
On Thursday night, we ordered from La Choza – a hugely popular Brighton restaurant in 2 locations, serving Mexican street food. We ordered a mouth watering selection of Calamari, Mexican street food salad, Char Grilled Corn, Nachos and Marinated Chicken to share and them mild chicken burritos for our mains.
Every dish was flavoursome, luxurious and packed full of delicious ingredients; I absolutely love Mexican and find that some restaurants skimp on flavour and spices, but La Choza definitely doesn’t. It’s a full Mexican meal to your doorstep.
If you are feeling a bit more adventurous and want to go out on the town then you can visit their 2 restaurants, at either 36 Glouchester Road or the at the Hare & Hounds on London Road. But if like me, you want to be in your pyjamas rocking a topknot and tuck in to your yummy Mexican takeaway in bed, then you can simply order through www.deliveroo.co.uk.
If your Saturday night is going to pan out similar to mine, and involve your onesie, fizzy pink wine, old episodes of Sex & The City, and a La Choza delivery then tweet me @btongirlprobs so we can be joyous in our antisocial bubbles of joy together!
Happy Mexican munching.
All my love BGP xx
