A New Treat From Benefit

imageI love buying makeup as you probably all know by now. I honestly believe you can never, ever have too much of it. With new lipstick and blusher shades constantly being released, you’ll never run out of makeup to purchase. Well I haven’t yet, anyway!

The newest piece in my collection is the Benefit World Famous Neutrals Easiest Nudes Ever Eyeshadow Kit (goodness that’s a moutful isn’t it).

imageI love the packaging on all Benefit products, but I especially love this one! Pink is my favourite colour and this is so girly and mystical and pretty – gorgeous!

imageInside is 4 powder eyeshadows,  2 creasless cram shadows in small pots, and a little Tips And Tricks booklet attached to the top, where it gives you some suggested application tips.

imageSo there’s 4 powder shades; Call My Buff which is a creamy matte primrose shade, a perfect base shade to create any eye with whether it be smoky, neutral or shimmer. Thanks A Latte is a deep taupe/coffee shade with a shimmer; I love this as although it has the shimmer element it’s still perfect for a glam daytime look. Pinky Swear is probably my favourite. It’s a gorgeous matte pastel pink, and I think I’ll wear this by covering half my kid with it and then taking a brown in the crease to create a gorgeous nude smoky eye. Quick, Look Busy is a dark matte brown, which is perfect to apply in your crease and under your eyes to blend into a brown dramatic smokey eye.

These shadows have great pigmentation and staying power; there’s such an array of colours in this set, and what I love is that even though you’ve only got 6 products¬†all together, it’s capable of creating SO many different looks.

imageThe first cream creasless shade included in the kit is No Pressure. It’s got a metallic vibe to it so would be really good used over the lid with a darker crease for a more dramatic eye, or in the crease with a neutral lid for a daytime look. Again these are really pigmented with amazing staying power just like the powder shades.

imageThis shade is called R.S.V.P and it’s got the same metallic base but is more of a nude shade so this is really nice for daytime wear as it’s more daring than a matte neutral but is still very ‘moderate’ when it comes to an eyeshadow colour.

I absolutely love this eyeshadow kit and cannot wait to try out some new looks with it.
