If you’ve been reading my blog since the beginning you will probably have seen me talk about boobs QUITE a lot before.
If you haven’t, or if you’ve forgotten then I’ll tell you again now.
Basically I’m not a very big person in general (aside from in the bum department, that area doesn’t seem to have an issue in growing!), I’ve always been quite small in height and frame, my build is just generally petite, meaning that I’ve never had big boobs.
I absolutely detested this fact for SO many years and wore ridiculously padded bras, chicken fillets and basically anything that would make me look like I had big boobs when I didn’t.
I didn’t bother ever investing in nice bras. I didn’t see what the point was because they weren’t big. I wanted to cover them up and just pretended they didn’t exist; I didn’t see what the point in sexy, pretty bras was when I just wanted to pretend they didn’t exist.
I went for a boob job consultation because I was so set on getting a boob job and finally having the big boobs I dreamt of and thought would finally make me feel sexy.
It turns out, I was wrong. I literally woke up one morning and decided I was sick of being ashamed of having 32B’s (sometimes on my period I can just about fill a C) and I wanted to embrace them. They were a part of who I was and if anyone else had a problem with me not being ample chested then that was their problem not mine.
Big boobs, small boobs, and every size in between are all beautiful and all sexy and no one should ever tell you differently. I think there are probably a lot of fellow small chested girls out there who feel like they can’t invest in gorgeous, pretty and lovely bras simply because they don’t see the point but I’m here to tell you that you can and you should.
Here are the best bras for small boobs!
The first bra I’ve chosen is this beautiful Wisteria Comfort Bra from Mimi Holliday and you can shop it here;
This bra has no padding whatsoever which you may think is a strange choice for a small chest but actually, once you embrace having small boobs you will realise that thin bras with no padding and delicate detailing are actually one of the best choices.
They exentuate what you do have and they look gorgeous on. They may not be the best type of bras for a white t shirt but a loose blouse, or just for the bedroom, this is a perfect bra!
The Wisteria Comfort Bra is delicate black and creamy nude lace with satin straps.
The next bra I’ve included is also a pretty little number from Mimi Holliday, and it’s the Angels Trumpet Moulded Bra and you can shop it here;
Feminine colours and patterns in candy hues are always complimentary to small boobs especially with a tan; who said pale pink couldn’t be sexy?! The darker pink lace edging frames your boobs and makes them look rounder and more shapely.
The fitted cups and balcony style will hold your boobs better and make the most out of their size. It has a very thin piece of padding but that’s all that is needed; when you have small boobs you tend to think you need a massively padded bra but all that will do is drown your boobs, gape forward at the front and ride up around your chest.
You’re much better off with a bra like this which will make the most out of what you’ve got and frame your boobs, and then place a chicken fillet in each cup for some more lift if need be.
The next bra I’ve chosen for this post is the beautiful Luella Plunge Bra from Ann Summers (AND it’s on sale now!). You can shop it here;
Sorry but how gorgeous is this bra?! It’s so luxurious and detailed! Well done Ann Summers!
The outer detailing which resides outside of the cups will make your boobs look bigger than they actually are, along with the balcony style.
Black is also a really great colour for making it look like you’ve got a little more than you have, and the bow detail in the middle is brought in, making the cups and therefore your boobs, stand out more!
The next bra is also from Ann Summers and it’s the lovely and daring Colette Plunge Bra (also now on sale!). You can shop it here;
This bra is SO perfect for the less ample chested of ladies; it’s padded a perfect amount, with lace edging. This means your bust will go out and the lace edging will make the padding look like real breastiness (haha); with those humongous padded Primark bras, they gape forwards and don’t actually hold any shape to your boobs. Whereas with a bra like this that is true to your cup size, it will hold you in all the right places, enhance your natural size, and above all that, it’s a bloody beautiful bra!
The gap in the middle of this bra also means that it’ll make the most of your boobs instead of swallowing them up in a mound of material.
The last bra in this post is a little number from Primark. I bought it over a year ago now so I don’t think it is available anymore, however you can get very similar styles!
This is SO perfect for smaller busted ladies; the bralet style compliments a small chest SO well, and the moulded cups mean again, they make the most out of what you’ve got and you can also fit in extra padding without it being at all noticeable.
So we’ve come to the end of the blog post now, and I really hope you enjoyed it and it’s given you some inspiration for bras that will really compliment you, and show you that whatever size or shape you are, you can wear pretty, sexy underwear!
Oh and one more thing – Merry Christmas & a very happy new year to you all!
All my love BGP xx
