What I Bought In The Sales 2015

Hi everyone! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and a very Happy New Year!

So, I went shopping in the Sales last Monday and I picked up quite a few bits that I thought I’d share with you all. Just to say, I’m sure none of you will think this anyway, but this isn’t a bragging ‘Look at all the bits I bought’ type blog post at all; everything was very much reduced so I didn’t spend a tonne of money!

The first place I went was Boots; now I’m not sure how widely known it is but Boots sale from Boxing Day is AMAZING. They reduce all their Christmas beauty gifts and you can get an incredible deal.

First of all I picked up this Instant Party Kit which includes a bottle of St Tropez tan and a set of Eyelure lashes. This was £12.50 reduces to £6.25 and I just HAD to get it. Eyelure lashes on their own are around £5.95 so this was a complete bargain.

Instant Party KitThe next thing I got was also St Tropez, and it was this £10 reduced to £5! This is the St Tropez Self Tan Express Mousse and a mitt, so it’s a perfect little tanning kit. St Tropez tan is one of the best in the business so I’m always looking out for any offers on it.

The next thing I picked up was probably one of my favourite things. It’s a Champneys Nail Polish Collection and it was £12 reduced to £6. The thing I loved about this was the colours; I literally love them all. I find with some nail varnish sets you get at least one or two colours that you don’t really like and won’t wear, but all these shades are so wearable, and there’s a clear Base & Top Coat.

The shades it includes are (going from the left), Nude, Pink, Wisteria, Plum, Mulberry and then the Base & Top Coat.

Such a bargain!

I also got some chocolate Lindtt bunnies in Boots but you don’t need to see those…plus they may have already been eaten!

The next place I went to was Accessorize where I found this gorgeous travel wallet. This was £25 originally reduced to £12.50 and I just had to have it. It’s a really beautiful shiny rose gold, and it’s the perfect size. I have lots of trips away coming up next year, so this will be so handy for putting plane tickets, hotel confirmation, passports, cards, currency, etc in. I absolutely adore it, it was such a find!

The next thing I got in Accessorize was this beautiful plain black clutch bag. It’s leather look with a very slight snakeskin look to it and a basic gold zip. I do have quite a few black clutch bags but all of them seem to have some sort of studding or other added amenity to them, so I really wanted just a classic plain one. This was £10 reduced to £6.30 I think the label says which is an absolute steal!

Then I went to Zara and had a look at their sale. To be honest I didn’t find that many items where reduced that much, but I did still find a lot of things to try on. Luckily for my bank balance, nothing except one top actually looked nice on, so I didn’t damage my savings too badly!

Lastly I went to Kiko, as recently one of their stores opened up in Churchill Square. I picked up 3 stunning eyeshadows from their Colour Sphere range. This isn’t very fitting with the blog theme of Sales as what I ended up picking up wasn’t actually in the sale, so I’m going to try them out and create some different looks and then blog about them!

I hope you all enjoyed reading about what I bought and let me know if you managed to pick up any good bargains by tweeting me @btongirlprobs. Speak to you all soon!

All my love BGP xx
