I hope you’re all doing well.
So on Saturday, I attended the Glamour Beauty Festival in London, and it was so much fun, so I thought I’d write a blog post all about it.
Before I go on, I just want to say this post is in no way sponsored, or affiliated with Glamour, I paid for my own ticket with my own money, and decided to write this blog post just because if I hadn’t attended, I’d have liked to read all about it! I hate having to say things like that but I feel like I have to!
Anyway, on with the post!
The Glamour Beauty Festival was at the Saatchi Gallery in Sloan Square.
When we first got in, we went to collect our goodie bags. The goodie bags were absolutely amazing, full of amazing full sized products and great miniatures. I’m going to get a separate blog post up this week about everything that was in the goodie bag so keep an eye out for that!
The interior everywhere was so pretty. I think this was my favourite wall.
There was also a – wait for it – Chandon Champagne Bar which was absolutely incredible!
After some champs, I headed to Liz Earle…
You could go for either a hand and arm massage, or a facial, all completely complimentary which I thought was amazing.
I went for the hand and arm massage, which was 20 minutes long, and so relaxing. My arms and hands smelt absolutely amazing afterwards!
The entire lay out of the event was so gorgeous, with the different huge rooms filled with beautiful décor, and wall signs.
There was also an area to get your nails done, again totally complimentary, with Rimmel, OPI and Sally Hansen.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t get my nails done as I had to rush off for a talk with Pixiwoo!
Pixiwoo are sisters Sam Chapman and Nic Haste, phenomenal makeup artists and YouTube sensations, and also the creators of Real Techniques brushes. I am massive, massive fans of them and so I chose to attend this talk simply because I could not miss it.
They did two models makeup live on stage, with Sam doing a more natural daytime look, and Nic doing an ‘Instagram ready’ look.
The talk was hosted by the beautiful and lovely Beauty Director of Glamour, Alex Steinherr.
They also shared their tips, and tricks of the trade, which were so insightful.
Both Sam and Nic were so lovely and down to earth, and it was an amazing talk. I’m so happy I chose to attend.
Glamour Beauty Festival 2016 was a really amazing day; it also ran on the Sunday which I didn’t attend, but I’m so glad I went. I had an incredible time and I can’t wait to show you all what was in my goodie bag!
All my love BGP xx
