So today is the first post in a brand new blog series called New In Beauty.
Basically, as a blogger, I am lucky enough to be sent new releases from beauty brands, and I also buy a lot of new releases myself, so what I’ve decided to do is talk you through all the newest products in the beauty industry each week, These won’t be actual reviews, they will just be first impressions and talking about the product, and then once I’ve tried them, I’ll do full reviews!
So, here we go.
Today I am talking about the newest release from Eco Tools, a brand that produce eco-conscious beauty products, predominantly brushes. They are 100% cruelty free, and feature recycled aluminium and renewable bamboo.
I have tried a few Eco Tools face brushes before, and I really enjoyed them. I did find the powder brush a bit too thick and heavy, as I prefer my powder brush to be a bit lighter so the coverage is more natural, but I really like my blush brush that I have from there.
Their newest release is the Eco Tools Lovely Looks The Glamourous Glow Look which is an adorable little set of brushes, that come in a case that opens like a book. They are miniature size brushes, but they are big enough to do the job and perfect for travelling/going away.
On the left side, is a guide on how to best use the brushes, which is really helpful for those who may be beginners with makeup, or be a little confused about what each brush is for.
I think the brushes are really pretty; the main part being bamboo, and then the contrast of the bright leaf print detailing, make them really aesthetically pleasing brushes. A lot of makeup brushes, for example MAC brushes, are very plain black and look very serious and professional, so I think these brushes would be great as a starter kit, or a gift for a friend who is just starting to get into makeup.
This set comes with 5 brushes in total, that can create pretty much a full face of makeup.
There is a Powder/Blush Brush (left) and a Foundation Brush (right).
Then there is also a Shadow Brush, Lip Brush and Flat Eyeliner Brush (left to right).
Eco Tools brushes are extremely soft and dense, and this kit is only £11.99, which is great if you want to try their brushes without splurging on the full sized brushes first.
The kit is currently available in Boots.
I am going to be trying these out in due course, and getting back to you on my opinions of them!
All my love BGP xx
