So – let’s talk about concealer.
A very important step of your makeup routine. It highlights, conceals, and blurs.
I’ve been searching for a good concealer since I first became serious about makeup, but found that they never brightened under my eyes enough, or covered enough, or were too thick or too orange.
I saw a lot of bloggers going on about how great the Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer for a while so a few months back I ordered it online. And I absolutely LOVE it. So, let’s talk about it!
I bought this in the lightest shade ‘Fair Neutral’ and it’s absolutely perfect.
This concealer is amazing for highlighting, and for under the eyes. It’s extremely brightening, especially for such a light shade, as I find a lot of pale concealers end up highlighting dark circles and drawing more attention to them, whereas this conceals and then lifts.
I have found it to be one of them products that changes my entire face as soon as I apply it. The consistency is extremely creamy, and the applicator is fluffy yet firm, making applying it a dream.
The coverage is fantastic, which is a plus. However this is obviously a very light shade, so applying it directly onto a spot or blemish would highlight it. The way I use this for blemishes is to apply my usual concealer I use for spots (MAC Pro Longwear) in a darker/skin colour shade, and then I apply this on top to gain a completely flawless finish.
It gives a luminous, demi-matte finish, and the consistency of it means it melts into your skin, and is totally invisible. It doesn’t sit on the skin like many concealers do, making you look cakey.
It also contains Japanese Green Tea which reduces the look of fine lines and leaves you with a more radiant complexion.
It’s £17.50, which of course isn’t the cheapest concealer available – but I have tried many cheaper options and this is the best that I’ve found. Creamy, radiant, brilliant coverage, and gives a luminous glow – a perfect concealer choice for anyone.
All my love BGP xx
