I hope you’re all doing well.
Today I thought I’d share with you my Top 5 Makeup Brushes – for your face though, as I’m planning on doing a separate blog post for eye brushes.
So, I’ll cut to the chase and talk you through my faves.
First up is this powder brush from Nanshy.
To be honest this one is a bit worse for wear now as I need to order a new one, but I wanted to include it anyway. It’s a large fluffy powder brush, perfect size, and very dense meaning it’s perfect for when you want your powder to be full coverage.
It was around £9 I believe, so a really good price, and it’s lasted me ages. I really like the coverage it gives and the way it makes my powder not cling to dry patches and just sweeps on flawlessly.
Next up, is this Morphe Brushes beauty.
This is the Gunmetal Flat Contour Brush G30 and I got it from Cult Beauty. It’s perfect for chiselling a killer pair of cheekbones when you’re contouring and gives you a really precise finish. It’s great for blending contouring products too; I thoroughly recommend it, for £14 it’s a really amazing staple to have in your makeup bag especially if you’re a contour lover but feel you’re struggling to get prominent cheekbones.
Next is from one of my absolute favourite makeup brush brands, Spectrum.
The C03 Tulip Powder Brush from the Marbelous 4 Piece Contour Set is so soft and easy to blend any powder formed makeup. This is my favourite brush to apply blusher with as the domed head makes it perfect for the apples of my cheeks. Their brushes are vegan and make your makeup ridiculously flawless.
Next, is from Crown Brush.
The C320 Precision Powder is my favourite brush at the moment. During the days when I don’t want a really dramatic contour, I use this to contour my cheeks, and it gives such a soft and subtle contour. The domed head means that it’s more angled and therefore can give more of an illusion of cheekbones, and it’s also incredible for blending. I thoroughly recommend this brush for anyone who wants to get into contouring but doesn’t want an over the top look.
And last, but certainly not least, is this Girls With Attitude brush.
Not only is this such a gorgeous brush, with it’s pink and purple bristles, but it’s so good. I use it for highlighting as it’s so delicate and soft, and really precise for dusting highlighter above my cheekbones. From a brand that’s only ever done lashes, this is so impressive for one of their first brush launches. It’s a really great dupe for my Charlotte Tilbury Powder & Sculpt Brush.
So, that’s the end of the blog post and I hope you all enjoyed it and found it helpful!
All my love BGP xx
