I hope you’re all well.
So, I paid a visit to the land of Primark the other day, and picked up quite a few bits…they actually had quite a lot of nice things, minus the neon Geek t shirts (why are those still a thing) and white leggings.
Right, enough of that, let’s get on with the post and show you what I got! Oh, and I’m trying everything I got on for you, so you can actually see what it looks like.
The first thing I got was this jumper which was £10.
I absolutely love this jumper; it’s so soft, the neckline is perfect and the colour is gorgeous; an icy lilac/grey. It’s not a long jumper, it comes to the top of my bum, but to be honest with jeans and a jacket, it’ll still keep you perfectly warm as it’s a chunky knit.
I think £10 is such a good price for a thick knit jumper, as they’re usually at least £25 everywhere else.
I then picked up another jumper, this time in a dark speckled grey.
This is literally the softest jumper I’ve ever felt in my life; this was also £10 and is just a casual day jumper I’ll throw on with leggings and jeans when I want to be comfortable. I love the speckled grey look and the high scoop neck.
Next, I picked up a khaki ribbed long sleeve dress.
This is such an easy dress to wear; soft, nice fitting, you can just throw it on with a pair of tights and ankle boots. I think this was £10 and as it’s a dress I’ll be wearing all this season, it’s a bargain.
Next up, I got something I’ve wanted for so long – a faux suede pinafore.
This is the nicest burnt orange colour and I just fell in love with it when I saw it; with a long sleeve top underneath and boots, it looks so lovely. It’s a perfect colour for Autumn too.
That was the last of the clothes I bought, however I did pick up a pair of pyjamas because I cannot resist a new pair everytime I nip into Primark.
These are extremely cringey, I admit, however I loved the pyjama bottoms so there was just no question really. I got a size medium instead of a small, and they are a bit too big for me but they’re comfy and perfect for Winter. I think these were 7 or 8 pounds.
Next, I picked up a sports bra – I’m trying to convince myself that I will use it and get fit, but let’s be honest, I probably wont. It was a nice thought anyway!
I really liked the colour and style of this, especially with the mesh parts; it was only £5 and I had the idea of if I buy pretty gym wear hopefully it will motivate me to actually get some use out of it.
I then picked up a big toiletry bag.
I fell in love with the print of this, plus it can fit a hell of a lot in so it’s perfect for a weekend away or a holiday. Or even just my day to day makeup, because I wear shitloads. It was only a fiver too, and would be a lot more expensive in other shops.
I then got myself a pack of cotton pads and a little storage container for them.
50p for cotton pads is pretty damn good, and they do the job just as more expensive ones do. I also picked up a little container for them for a couple of pounds, as it looks a lot nicer storing them in that then the actual packet, and it has a handy part at the front to just pull them out as and when you need them.
I then got a really cute little choker that I think will be perfect for Halloween!
A little black velvet and lace bow choker, I thought this was so adorable and it was only £2, so why not?!
The last thing I picked up, was something that I also thought was a choker, but yesterday realised it was actually a headband…
Pretty, but not something I’d wear on my head I don’t think unfortunately!
I hope you all enjoyed this post and got some Primark buying inspo, and I’ll speak to you all soon!
All my love BGP xx
