BLOGMAS Day Five: My Favourite Winter Matte Liquid Lipsticks

winter-liquid-lipstick-1Hi everyone!

I hope you’re all well and welcome to Blogmas Day Five!

Today I wanted to talk to you all about My Favourite Liquid Lipsticks for this time of year. 2016 has gone absolutely bloody crazy for liquid lipsticks, and rightly so. Don’t get me wrong, I love a bullet, oil based lipstick, your typical tube lippy, but we all know that after tucking into a bit of garlic bread, it’s all around your face.

Liquid lipsticks are a new phenomenon, if you pick the right ones, they stay on all day long, you can eat garlic bread to your hearts content and not need to worry about reapplying. For greedy gals like myself, they’re a dream come true.

So without further ado, here are my favourite matte tubes of heaven for the bitter cold months.

liquid-lips-2liquid-lips-1Gerard Cosmetics Hydra Matte Liquid Lipsticks are probably my favourite liquid lipsticks out there; they don’t break the bank, they don’t dry the lips out, they last a good amount of time and the colour range is fab.

My top 3 picks for Winter from top to bottom are; Serenity (available here), Skinny Dip (available here), and Ecstasy (available here).

liquid-lips-3liquid-lips-4Beauty Bakerie Lip Whip’s are a reasonably new discovery of mine, but I’m so glad I found them. They literally do not budge; they are amazing. Really smooth and they glide on like a dream, and once they’re on, they’re on.

My favourite shades for Winter are Versailles (top shade, available here) and S’mores D’oeuvres (bottom shade, similar available here).

liquid-lips-5 liquid-lips-6Jeffree Star is my ultimate love, so of course I had to include one of his amazing Velour Liquid Lipstick’s in this post. Silky smooth, totally non drying, and the most amazing range of colours, along with being seriously long lasting, these are a must have.

The ultimate Winter shade has to be Unicorn Blood (Sold out, but the lipstick version available here and some other gorgeous Winter shades available here and here).

And last, but not least, we have some brilliant budget buys.

liquid-lips-7liquid-lips-8The cheapest of the bunch, these NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream’s need a few more layers than the rest, but they’re still super creamy, good quality and well pigmented for the price. They have a huge colour range, albeit the ones that look nudey pink are a lot brighter on the lip, but the deeper Winter shades are definitely worth trying.

The top shade is Monte Carlo (available here) and Copenhagen (available here).

I hope you all enjoyed this post and got some Winter lip inspo; happy shopping and I’ll speak to you all tomorrow!

All my love BGP xx
