A Red & White Love Affair This Valentine’s With Illamasqua

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well!

Today I wanted to post something beauty related for you all, and as we are now entering into the countdown to Valentine’s Day, what better time to talk about the two newest Illamasqua releases?

To mark the occasion (the occasion being those of us who are very single, realising even more how very, very single we are), they have realised two new lipsticks; a unique, bright white called Eclipse and a crimson red with pink undertones (perfect for V Day, may I add) called Physical.

I’ve always loved Illamasqua; the first ever products I bought from them were a pure white Skin Base foundation and a darker coloured one, about 4 or 5 years ago, when I first discovered contouring; yep that didn’t go down too well, what with the fact I was using the purest white product to highlight!

My love for them has grown over the years, with their amazingly pigmented eyeshadows, gorgeous lipsticks and beautiful blushers. I got my makeup done at their stand in Selfridges, London last year and I felt a million dollars. They’re just a fab brand all round.

Anyway, I digress; back to the subject in hand; Illamasqua Anti Matter Lipstick in shades Physical and Eclipse.

These two shades can create so many looks; Ombré lips, gradient lips, block colour. The white shade is brilliant because it can be used to lighten up the red (or any other lipsticks you own).

As always with Illamasqua lippies, these are super creamy and pigmented with great lasting power; they’re buttery and apply like a dream.

I mixed both shades together to create this beautiful, bright fuchsia shade which I absolutely adore; I’m going to post another blog and some Instagram snaps of the shades together, separately and an Ombré look with them, so keep an eye out for that!

You can grab the lipsticks from the Anti Matter range here if you like the look of them and want to try them out for yourself.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I’ll speak to you all soon!

All my love BGP xx
