Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well.
Today I wanted to introduce all my Uni-going readers to a little concept, called Uni Food Direct.
I don’t go to uni, but I have 0 upper body strength, and I’m pretty lazy when it comes to exerting myself physically. The thought of having to trudge to my local supermarket whilst at Uni, and nearly die on the way home laden with bags full of washing up liquid and a crusty French loaf…well it fills me with the upmost horror. Walking (unless it’s a country walk with a visit to a pub at the end of it) is not something I’m particularly fond of. So if you’re like me, and are at Uni partaking this current regime, I have the answer for you.
Uni Food Direct does what it says on the tin; you sign up for £28 a month and you get a regular box full of over 20 groceries and toiletries, with free delivery, delivered all over the UK.
Basically, it’s like ordering a dress for a night out from ASOS from your bed, rather than having to face other humans in town. This whole concept is exactly the same, except it’s ever so slightly better, because it involves food.
You can also give it as a gift, so if your friend or relative or your boyfriend/girlfriend is at Uni, you can send it to them as a little surprise in the post. I know I would love this if I was at Uni, mainly because I’d have spent every last penny on tequila shots and 3am kebabs, and wouldn’t be able to afford to eat or bathe myself (come to think of it, I’m not at Uni now and that rings quite true to my life?).
I absolutely love the whole concept of Uni Food Direct, especially since if you sign up now you get entered into their competition to win £250! More money for tequila, kebabs and ASOS dresses in my opinion.
You can get your own Uni Food Direct hamper here.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I’ll speak to you all soon!
All my love BGP xx
