Nip + Fab Liquid Gold

Hi everyone, I hope you’re all well!

I haven’t done a beauty post in a while (Tinder took over my life briefly soz), so today I wanted to share with you all a dreamy little product I’ve been trying out lately.

If you’ve been reading my blog a while, you’ll know I absolutely bloody love Nip + Fab. I love their skincare, and their foundation is my all time favourite now.

I have been trying their new liquid higlighters, the Liquid Gold, and I am SO impressed that I wanted to share my thoughts with you all. Also, they have 50% off all makeup until 5pm on the 26th February so I’d definitely have a look if I were you (you can browse here).

With these, a little goes a long way; I know it sounds a ridiculous thing to say, but they are very liquid, and can get quite messy.

To apply, I dab the liquid higlighter from the applicator onto my finger, then apply it along my cheekbone, collarbones, etc, then I blend in with a stippling brush. I haven’t actually tried using a Beauty Blender to apply these yet, but I’m sure it works just as well.

I would recommend applying softly in a direct line rather than dotting on, as I’ve found when dotting on, when my cheekbones catch the light you can almost see the dots, whereas if you apply without a gap, they apply a lot nicer and smoother.

I use the Liquid Gold after my foundation, concealer and liquid contour, and before my powder. I do a powder highlight on top to set it.

My favourite shade right now is definitely Rose Gold, because it’s a perfect golden highlight; in Summer, I think I’ll get a lot more use out of Deep Gold (definitely on my body too) when I’m more tanned, and I’d say White Gold would be ideal for fairer skin tones, although it’s more of a pearlescent pink shade and you could definitely use it as a more striking highlight whatever skintone you are, but personally I prefer more golden tones.

You get a lot for your money, and this is series Highlight You Can See From Mars level of highlight/illuminator. You can obviously apply less if you want a more natural look, but it’s definitely a noticeable glow.

I absolutely love these and I can’t wait to start using Deep Gold as it gets warmer and looking like a glowing VS model (I wish).

You can shop them, and the rest of Nip + Fab makeup range here.

All my love BGP xx
